In 1960, C.H. McCracken founded Air Blown Concrete as a family owned gunite company in Fresno, California and by 1973 he had moved the operation to Sacramento. In 1977, Richard Holzmeister (nephew of C.H. McCracken) and his wife Sandi took over the operation expanding the business to include ready mix concrete. Richard and Sandi retired in 2004 and their children continue to operate the family business.
